On July 5, 2023, Bernard Hoyes, a renowned Jamaican visual artist, was among the distinguished recipients of grants. This initiative was made possible by Creative Corps Inland SoCal, which is a state-funded program established in partnership with the California Arts Council (CAC), alongside the Inland Empire Community Foundation (IECF), Arts Connection – The Arts Council of San Bernardino County, Riverside Arts Council, and the California Desert Arts Council. The program proudly announced the allocation of over $3.8 million in funding to 53 deserving individuals and entities.
